A Day of Thanks!!!!

Hey it's me.... What a day it had been! Like I have stated in other posts I am in the nursing program. Today was my last day doing my pediatrics rotation! You know I think that working with children is so rewarding! The children are extremely precious! The really neat thing is that you can have a 5 day old and you can have a 15 yr old on the same shift. I have had quite the experiences! Terrible Toddlers to precious innocent 5 day old babies! I really start to think when I am working in the hospital and walking down the halls and seeing patient's in their rooms. One thing that always stands out is that these patients that are sick are depending on you for comfort, information, on advocating for them....I realized that by being a christian this is the perfect way to let my light shine! I am not allowed to witness to my clients unless they ask me questions and want to know why I'm different! Well, I pray that people will see that I have something they need especially in a time when a doctor can't always provide the answers! It reminds me the healthy are in no need of a physician! I have to say that the hospital is a very spiritual place! Its hard to put a finger on it, but some of the people I see are medically fine they are spiritually ill. They are simply having physical symptoms from their spiritual illness! I am so thankful to know the One True and Living God that supplies our every need. He is our Physician! I am just very thankful today for a God that sticks closer than a brother and the fact that he chose me to be his friend, child, lover, brother, etc. I thought I would just blog about my feelings today!
